AN2013 was this last weekend, and I'm happy to say everything was fun and went well overall There were bumps here and there, but they didn't keep me down for too long. It was my most hectic convention to date, but laid back at the same time? I don't even.

Friday was insane with 3 hours of using public transportation with heavy luggage. Me and my boyfriend checked in, unpacked, and got ready. We grabbed our passes first, and thankfully the organization for the pre-reg line this year was fixed. I would not have been pleased if I had too wait 3 hours again. We grabbed some food, I met up with an Edward Elric cosplayer to sell some manga, and then spent the rest of the night at the Nominoichi selling. It went well and I made some spending money ;D I met up with a tumblr friend at the dance after.

Saturday started hectic as well. Did makeup for Etoile, and then got dressed for the random video game shoot. Grabbed some food in there before my shoot with Everage. After that I went back to my room to change into Luka for the Vocaloid shoot. The wind unfortunately blew off the flower crown I had poured 8+ hours into making and I lost it. If I have ever had a cosplay meltdown, that was it. I was so upset that it was gone and cried pretty hard. My boyfriend went on a search but no luck, so he bought me a new one from the crafters corner. I'll have to take the time to make a new one. From there it was pretty relaxed. We walked around, went to the dealers room, met up with Pasiphilo, got some food. We took a nap and then headed to the dance.

Sunday morning was a let down as one of the photographers I was going to work with cancelled my shoot that morning. We packed up, got some Tim's and checked out. My boyfriends family came to pick us up and we showed them around the con. From there we left to get some lunch and look at shops around the area.

So I don't have that many photos to post here. There's the set with Shyna I did with Everage, and some photos of Luka my boyfriend took. I'll pick out the best ones and post them here.

Can't wait for next year! My cosplay plans are already underway! Devil May Cry group with my boyfriend and his brother

I MADE IT GUYS. I MADE IT THROUGH MY FIRST YEAR OR UNIVERSITY OMG -dies- I'm so glad to be done for the summer. There was just so much stress and anxiety. Don't get me wrong, I learned so much, found a new passion, and had a great time, but it was an emotional roller coaster at the same time. Now to wait for final marks... aha.

Now I have time to start on Anime North cosplays. Two of the three I will be bringing are 90% done. I'll just be making shoes for them. As for the cosplay I am debuting, I FINALLY will be able to get that Amy Lee cosplay done. I bought fabric way back in October for it and I just had enough to make the circle skirt. The pieces are cut (yay!) I just need to find right colour thread, buy more fabric for the top, and sequins.

Well hello everyone, thank you for sticking around. I swear things will be picking up soon >W< -cries-
To start, my first semester of university flew by. I did fairly well, but failed chemistry miserably. Apparently so did half of the class so I don't feel to bad orz. It's now half way through second semester and it's going by so quickly as well, WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?

I'm dropping by too say a quick few updates. Firstly, I will be attending March Toronto Comicon for the Saturday only, as I can get in free that day haha. My father, boyfriend, and will be accompanying me. I may have some other friends join too :3 I'll be cosplaying the Just Be Friends version of Luka. Quite excited for this one, as I'll be adding my own taste in style for it x)

I will be attending Anime North for the whole weekend as well. There's a lot I'm looking forward too and will be the first time my boyfriend will be attending AN. I'm really hoping he has some fun, maybe cosplay some characters he likes too? Haha xD My cosplay plans for the weekend are Fionna from Adventure Time, Rei Ayanami from Evangelion in her school uniform, and Amy Lee from the My Immortal music video. Fionna is about half way done, Rei's shoes and socks are bought and I'M NO WHERE NEAR FINISH AMY. Why do I keep holding back from starting? I think it's because a lot of planning has to go into it for it to turn out descent and I want it to be perfect, so I'm a little scared to get started. But I promised myself to get it done, I've been wanting to do this costume since Halloween -cries-

It's been since Halloween since I updated, so I needed to stop by to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my watchers! Thank you so much guys, the support is always appreciated, and I hope you stick around for next year and my new cosplay projects!

My first term in university went well enough, aha ^.^' I'll be returning on the 7th of Janurary, and let me tell you now, I know it's going to go by so fast, these past 4 months flew by.

As for the the next convention I'll attend, it will probably only be Anime North this year. I don't have a job at the moment, as I decided to try and stay focused on school. I've been told my first year is very important due to the big transition. I want to do well, so I need to stay focused. Not saying that I won't have fun, I know I need to enjoy myself too

My plans for Anime North then are to finally get that Amy Lee cosplay done, Fionna from Adventure Time (I'm about half way done already!) and Rei Ayanami from Evangelion. My boyfriend will be coming along as well, this will be his first year at AN! He said yes to cosplaying Shinji with me as well, eeep x)

And to close this update, I did a Christmas themed cosplay shoot with as the photographer. I'll be posting my favourite 5 photos from each character I did. I made the costume myself with some help from her. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, being the first costume I've ever made from scratch. I hope you guys enjoy them!
